The Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace is is a grand chamber of awe inspiring dimensions. Gigantic crystal chandeliers and rich historically important tent canopies decorate the 2 storey high ceiling. Magnificient portraits done in traditional miniature syle and European oils, ornately decorated weapons and a collection of historical photographs are on display. The viewing galleries on the first floor was from where the ladies of the palace could get a view from the privacy of their veils. Today these galleries house the 'Crystal Gallery' museum. Lord Minto, The Viceroy of India laid the foundation stone for the Durbar hall in 1909.

This gorgeous former chandelier is now reborn as a ceiling fixtiure. This fixture measures 5" in diameter at the ceiling canopy, the main body is 13" and hangs 12" from your ceiling when installed. The finish is a rich metallic antique gold with hand painted details in metallic antique copper, metallic green and mocha then top coated in gloss lacquer for lasting beauty. Fixture has it's original porcelain light sockets with new wiring for safety. This fixture uses standard/ medium base light bulbs (not included), and will operate by your wall light switch.
